On Thursday, November 9th BUS (Black United Students) put on the 53rd annual Renaissance Ball, a themed casino nightstand hosted by Aniyah Davies & Deanna Baccus. For another year it was a very successful event with 4 women and 4 men presenting their talents and beautiful looks!

The night started with 2 dance numbers choreographed by the talented India Williams. Then it was time for the talent portion of the night. Freshman marketing major Greg Simpson started off the show with a bang with a fashion show highlighting his own streetwear brand that consisted of hoodies and t-shirts paired with graphics designed by him. Then was senior international relations major: Adara Mickels who serenaded us with her beautiful singing voice covering a Daniel Ceasar song. We ended the talent portion with the dance routine presented by a junior sports medicine major and G Flex captain, Champagne Jones. She was accompanied by her team members from the G-Flex (Golden Reflections) dance team.

Then we had a brief intermission before the formal wear portion from the contestants.
