Everyone loves a good Instagram photoshoot, but Instagram photos have a certain type of science to it. The way to get the best photos all comes down to the type of aesthetic desired for the photos/and or your feed. Here are some simple tricks to help elevate your feed and photo-taking disabilities.
Let the Background/Architecture speak for itself. Allow yourself to be an addition to the photo and not the main focal point, this creates a photo harmony that allows for the beautiful landscape to speak for itself. So try next time to put yourself in the corner of the photo towards the bottom and get more of the background behind you. The wide-lens camera will help with this desired look.
A photo is worth 1000 words, so your photos, should set a scene and tell a story, Keep in mind the story you are trying to tell, especially if you are going to make yourself the focal point, make sure the scene is set and the vibe is there. The thing that will help with this is to try and plan out the background that would match your outfit to help create the story.
Let the Fit speak for itself: Sometimes the best photos are fit pics, faceless photos allow for the fit to speak for itself. So try just taking pics of your amazing fit and make that the focal point of the picture.
Be Organic: The thing that is gonna make your photos look the best is if you are comfortable and organic in the photos, try moving around when taking pictures to get the most organic photos if you look stiff or are trying too hard in the picture it will show so try and be more organic.
At the end of the day, your Instagram should be a reflection of you and you should post what you like and what you are interested in. You should not feel pressured into posting pictures that aren't authentically you. Post what makes you happy and post what you love. An authentic Instagram is better than one that is trying too hard.
