My favorite season is upon us, bringing the question of what we’ll wear this fall. Fashion trends don’t always unfold as we predict; some styles that seem promising never take off, while others explode the moment they hit the runway. So, what’s trending now, and what pieces are you planning to add to your fall wardrobe?
This season, I’m noticing a resurgence of Boho style, which I love because Boho is all about free-flowing, effortless classics. Romantic blouses, A-line skirts, and lace silk dresses are everywhere. I’m loving a ruffle blouse paired with a mini skirt or trousers for an easy, stylish look.
With the chillier weather, blazers, trench coats, denim, and leather jackets are making their seasonal comeback. "Modern elegance" is all the rage, combining minimalism with timeless femininity. My favorite look this season is layering up in my tan trench coat over a cozy sweater. You can pair this with jeans or a skirt and accessorize with a chunky scarf or a headband.
Another element I’m loving this season is the pop of unique accessories. I’ve noticed a huge influx of sequins, which look adorable as a dress or skirt. These sequins are perfect for holiday wear, alongside feathers, fringe, and ruffles on knits, dresses, and outerwear. Sequins are even trending in accessories and shoes, especially on boots, flats, and heels.
While these pieces can be worn year-round, they make such a statement in my favorite season. If you’re looking to spice up your wardrobe this fall, consider adding some of these items, and, as always, dress in a way that makes you feel great this time of year.
