In her role, she manages four distinct boutiques, each specializing in different facets of fashion, including Leather Goods, Women's Ready-to-Wear, Men's, and Women's Shoes.

I have had the pleasure of growing a relationship with Muriel as she is my mentor as a part of the Women@Dior Mentorship and Education Program. Not only has she instilled guidance, support, and a wealth of knowledge for me both personally and professionally, but she has also been a source of inspiration in all that she does being a woman who has accomplished remarkable accolades in the Fashion Industry.
I had the privilege of securing an exclusive interview with Muriel, during which I had the opportunity to engage in an in-depth conversation about her illustrious career journey and the path that led her to her current role.
Tell me about your current position and how you came into that role.
Lenior: "I oversee 4 boutiques within my location including; Leather Goods, Women’s
Ready-to-Wear, Men’s, as well as Women’s Shoes. My journey to this role began when I was
Was there ever a job position that you applied for and got, but you weren't 100% qualified?"
Lenior: "I’ve had 4 jobs in my lifetime and am truly grateful for them all. There was a company that I applied for. Got the role and was so happy as it was my dream company. However, after working with the company for some time, I realized it wasn’t the right fit in my career at that time. I’m a firm believer that we are exactly where we
need for reasons that we may realize later on."
How do you balance your time?
Lenior: "Balancing my time is an on-going opportunity for me. One of the practices I have in place is starting my day with 30 mins for myself. Having a coffee and watching the news is my happy place. This allows me mentally to know on the craziest of days that might last 12 hours, I had a moment to myself and surprisingly makes me work smarter.“
What do you like the most about your job?
Lenoir: “3 things; I love that everyday is not like the day before nor will it be like the day tomorrow. I don't have an office job so each day is ever evolving and I love that and having a challenge every day keeps me on my toes. I love fashion I love the way that my team makes people look beautiful and I love to see those desire our brand and the third is I love my team, we have such an awesome team and I feel that we have one of the best teams in the company because they support one another, motivate each others, be each other's cheerleaders and it makes me want to work even harder for them.”
What is one of your “aha moments”/highlights in your current career?
Lenoir: Dior hosted a Worldwide Summit with 650 Directors and Leaders from around the globe in Paris, France. These summits are hosted every 2 years. During the Gala on the last day, there was an award portion and the President of Dior for North America Awarded me the “President’s Award” which I accepted on behalf of my team as well. It was an award for my leadership and the huge project we are doing at my location this holiday season. It was at that moment that I knew all that I have worked for over the years lead me to this moment and furthered solidified that I’m exactly where I need to be in my professional life right now."
