Love is a rare and special feeling that not everyone experiences. It often finds you rather than you seeking it, as it did for Mike and Angelique Daniels at Kent State University. They met in 2015 while working as program coordinators—Mike at the Student Multicultural Center and Angelique at the Student Success Program. Their friendship blossomed into romance, and Mike began courting Angelique in November 2017. They grew closer through dates and deep conversations, leading Mike to propose on March 30, 2019, believing God had guided him to marry her. Their love is deeply rooted in faith and friendship, making their marriage beautiful. As they approach their fifth wedding anniversary on June 16th, we celebrate their true love.
